About Us

Established in 1995, IASIU - Wisconsin Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting integrity and excellence in the field of insurance fraud investigation for over 30 years. Our goal is to provide education, training, and resources to insurance investigators, law enforcement, and insurance professionals, while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. We are committed to upholding ethical standards and combating insurance fraud to protect the interests of honest policyholders and the insurance industry as a whole.

WIASIU Officers/ Board of Directors

The terms of officers is three years or until election of their respective successors at the Annual Meeting, which may be longer. Any vacancy occurring among the officers or board shall be filled by appointment by the President.

Presented Annually by the WIASIU President for Service and Achievement

The service award recipient criteria is as follows:

  •  WIASIU member in good standing

  • Hold or held a WIASIU board position or led WIASIU committee(s)

  • ​Positively & Significantly impacted the WIASIU mission

  • ​5 years or more of WIASIU service

Code of Ethics

WIASIU is dedicated to the thorough investigation of insurance fraud consistent with the highest standards of ethical and legal conduct. WIASIU Members agree to observe this Code of Ethics as a condition of their WIASIU membership and affiliation.


WIASIU Code of Ethics

 

  1. WIASIU Members will act with integrity and honesty, modeling the professional behavior exemplary of our organization.

  2. WIASIU Members will respect the sensitive nature of any confidential or proprietary information made known or available to them, consistent with the law. Members will also exercise the care required to prevent the unlawful or improper disclosure of such information.

  3. WIASIU Members will take the appropriate duty of care to protect or maintain the reputation and professional practice of a colleague, employer, insured, claimant or other subject of an investigation.

  4. WIASIU Members will demonstrate courage and responsibility in their decision making when faced with potential conflicts of interest.

  5. WIASIU Members will perform their duties and comply with all applicable local, state, provincial and federal laws.

  6. WIASIU Members will be aware of and adhere to the principles of appropriate antitrust laws.

  7. WIASIU Members will adhere to the principles and support of diversity, equity, and inclusion in our membership.

  8. WIASIU Members will professionally communicate with each other to support WIASIU mission and refrain from tarnishing WIASIU initiatives.
